Neet 2021 latest August update: Pattern change, course-wise updates and more! National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) (NEET) 2021, the National Medical entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) has some important updates for you to consider as cited by their latest brochure.
The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, the 12 September 2021 in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes (AIIMS & JIPMER) in India.
The NEET (UG) – 2021 shall consist of one Question Paper containing 180 Multiple Choice Questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Each of the three subjects will have two sections – A and B. While Section A will be mandatory and will consist of 35 questions, Section B will have 15 questions, out of which students will have to answer only 10. The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2021 would be conducted are : English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

NEET Exam Pattern 2021: Marking Scheme
Below is the NEET 2021 marking scheme mentioned according to the NEET 2021 information brochure .
- For every correct answer, students will be awarded 4 marks and for every incorrect attempt, one mark will be deducted. Attempting multiple answers in the NEET exam can lead to negative marks.
- There will be no negative marking for any unanswered questions.
- Students will not be able to change their answers after marking in the OMR sheets.
As per the brochure, the fee details is as follows:

OBC-NCL in the Category Column. State-listed OBCNCL Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General.
