To calculate the score achieved in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam, all the marks achieved in all subjects in all the sections will be added up. You can use the following formula to calculate total marks:

How JEE Advanced 2021 Rank List Will be Prepared?

JEE Advanced 2021 rank list will be generated based on the cumulative marks scored by the candidates in the competitive exam. Cumulative or aggregate marks are the total of all the marks obtained in Paper-I and Paper-II and can be calculated using the above formula.

Aspirants need to note that the list will only include the names of those candidates who had appeared for both Paper-I and Paper-II. Moreover, candidates need to score at least the threshold marks in each subject, prescribed for inclusion in the final list.

The prescribed marks depend on the category of the student. Here’s a break-up of the minimum score that candidates need to score to make it to the JEE Advanced 2021 Rank List:

Step 2: If aggregate marks and Mathematics scores are the same, then candidates will be ranked on the basis of their marks in the Physics section. The more, the merrier.

Step 3: If candidates get similar total marks and subject-wise scores in Mathematics and Physics, they will share the same rank.
